| The hike was a pilgrimage walk on the Way of Saint James (you can follow the shell sign through the trails all the way to Spain!!!) |

| This is a common site here (a snail). It is funny because instead of calling kids "sweetie" in German, they often call them "Schnecke" which means snail! (Mia took this photo by our front door) |

| Ok - this is quite funny.. Bailey is working at a Cafe/Bar/ice cream place this summer. The German equivilent to High School graduates ALL celebrate their finishing of school on the same day. Students from different Gymnasiums all wear the matching shirts and walk around the city to celebrate (this is consistent throughout Bavaria). Bailey's ice cream stand got turned into a Liquor store for the day! Only in Germany!!! |
