Mia's First Day of 4th Grade!

Summer Vacation is finally over. Mia started back to school today - 4th Grade - so hard to believe! Camden was in 2nd Grade when we moved here and now my youngest is in 4th Grade - CRAZY! She had a fun last weekend in Bamberg with her Bamberg friends (which made it all the more difficult to face school today in her new school (without her Bamberg friends :-( ) She had a good first day though - I won't say that it was great, but it was definitely good. We walked to school this morning instead of riding bikes, which gave us lots of time for talking. On the way home, we stopped for Chinese takeout and ate it on a bench in the sunshine. All in all, a pretty good start to the year. A nice treat in the evening was to facetime with one of her best friends from Bamberg (oh - the transition is hard!) Mia - I hope 4th grade brings you lots of new fun experiences and lots of new knowledge - I love you to the moon and back! You make us so happy!!!
