Pula and Motovun

Pula is an old Roman City on the Croatian Coast. It still has many beautiful old Roman Ruins and was a really neat town. The weather warmed up a bit for us and that was definitely a plus. We also went to Motovun one day, which is a famous hilltop village. It is also where the race car driver Mario Andretti was born - which makes sense because you would have to be a great driver to maneuver those little streets each day....
Our Group!

The sky made for such nice pictures...

Mia adored having friends to play will all week!

So pretty!

Once again - such old streets with so much character!

Our kids took over the "Forum" (the big square). The kids had fun running around and playing ball....

while the parents had fun sitting, chatting, and drinking coffee :-)

Bailey, Mia and Camden in front of the Old City Gate

And our crazy and silly group (notice I was the one offering to take the picture ;-). Fun Memories!!!

In the evening, we found a neat Beach to play on... It was ALL rocky (fun to explore)

We seemed to really luck out squeezing 12 people in without a problem at the Restaurants!

This is the beautiful Village of Motovun

And more crazy kids up on the hill in the village :-)

The region is famous for its Olive Oil and Truffles - I though this photo looked like a perfect advertisement . Even with a point and shoot camera - it looked pretty good

I love these kids :-) *Notice Mia's hair curled for the day :-)

A view from the top...

Yes - and this is probably why Mario Andretti was such a good driver!!!

Gorgeous!!!
