Croatia

We just got back from Spring Break in Croatia with our good friends (the Hatcher Family) from Georgia. We had such a nice week and everyone had friends to hang out with  - which was definitely a huge bonus! We stayed in the Istria region of Croatia - just below Trieste, Italy. The area is starting to be touristy, but there are still plenty of beautiful places fairly untouched. The people were so nice and went out of their way for us - truly such kindness! We were often a site with 12 people in our group, but everyone kept up great and it was a such a fun week! As always, I will bore you with lots of photos over the next few posts :-). We were so sad to leave!!!!
Picking up the Hatcher's at the airport :-) They were such troopers! Flying over night and then driving all day down to Croatia!!!

This Easter basket filled with hand dyed eggs awaited us upon our arrival.

Even with all of the traveling - the Easter bunny found us and left little Easter bags for all of the kids! He surprised us with a trip to a Ropes Course too...

Our 300 year old House that we rented. It wsa so adorable (the family renovated it and every little corner had such cool detail!) Very much like Tuscany - but in Croatia!

Such cute character everywhere!

This is Sam, Julia, Bailey and Camden enjoying one of the adorable little puppies next door - they provided lots of entertainment for all of the kids. The first few days were quite cold too (as you can see :-)). It got much warmer though throughout the week.

The ropes course was definitely a hit! (Even with the cold - the older kids did not want to leave!!! :-))

It was so funny - the owners of the place were great! Bailey and Julia asked them if it was safe to sit together up in the net for a photo. The guy said - "Why don't you try and then we will know if it is safe or not :-)"

Mia, Lu Lu and Jaida watching Bailey, Julia, and Sam do the "High High High Ropes :-)"

Bailey going across the valley - they all had so much fun!
