Sylvester (New Years) is the one day a year in which fireworks are legal in Germany. It is really hard to explain how unbelievable it is here - like nothing I have ever seen. For hours, the fireworks can be heard and seen all over the city. I always post pictures of our little street on New Years, but Bryan found this video from youtube over looking Bamberg, and I thought it better explains the intensity of it all (there are no public fire works shows, instead it is all individual people shooting them off all over the city). - Amazing!!!!
